I have found a very, very well written article that I wanted to share.
Just below is the link to the article that I am posting in full here on my blog.
It’s from ‘A Christian Witness to Roman Catholics’
But first, my thoughts.
At the end of this article is a link to the Document that is being analyzed: The Gift of Salvation
The signers of ‘The Gift of Salvation’ are listed at the end of that document.
This list includes many. Here are a few:
Dr. James J.I. Packer, and of course
What is written in the following article by Robert Michael Zins is well detailed regarding doctrines like faith alone, and scripture alone. How can one read this and remain a part of the deceived bunch? Well, I guess if the Lord hasn’t opened the heart to understand, then one will remain deceived.
I especially appreciated this article because I am a former Catholic.
When I became saved I left the Catholic Church I left the lie of working for salvation. I left the smoke screens of observing Lent and taking part in rituals like the Stations of the Cross and Good Friday.
Since becoming saved in 1975, I was a part of different types of Evangelical congregations for a time and eventually becoming a member at a local evangelical church.
Sometime before 2005 my church was slowly becoming involved with ministry with the local Catholic Church. In the fall of 2005 our church started small groups. This is where we started experiencing small group brainwashing exercises. I mention this because we were being slowly moved toward embracing Catholic ideas.
This small group activity used a book from Willow Creek called Beginning in Christ Together.
Written by Brett Eastman, Dee Eastman, Todd Wendorff, Denise Wendorff, Karen Lee-Thorp and published by Zondervan. Zondervan is obviously now promoting apostasy.
Talk about smoke and mirrors!! This book is just that!
Our small group activity also included the viewing of videos of Rob Bell and Brian McLaren and other men that previously I had never heard of. Now I realize that we were being influenced by emergent leaders.
After a number of anxiety filled months of participation, I realized that I needed to remove myself from this anti-Christ activity. Soon after that I went to the board of Elders and the Pastor with my objections to small group teachings and other activities and ideas being promoted from the pulpit and in youth group and adult Sunday School. Nothing happened and I was being ignored.
Soon after this I left that church. It continues on with the agenda of being transitioned and transformed.
I see this document ‘The Gift of Salvation’ to be material that suits the purpose of those who would actively brainwash other people.
If you take part in an ecumenical activity, you are participating in a brainwashing activity.
Why would you do this?
To replace the true gospel with another gospel?
Those who take part in any form of ecumenism are either being brainwashed or doing brainwashing to others.
Again, why would you do this? Ecumenism represents a false gospel.
Anyone who takes part in this kind of activity is a traitor to the one and only Gospel.
One does not have to realize that they are a traitor in order to be one.
Something to think about.
Since then, I have repented of my part in dialoging the Word of God in small group.
I repented of being part of an activity that is actually teaching negation of the truth.
I repented of closing my eyes to certain activities that my church took part in with the local Catholics.
I am so thankful to God for His endless, compassionate mercy upon me.
The Lord opened my eyes to how I was compromising. He showed me that apostasy was embedding itself into my church.
I see now how apostasy is also grossly embedded in much of the visible church today.
This following article with it’s clear explanation will help you see how sly our traitorous ‘brethren’ really are.
Yet, those who are opposing the truth are not so sly as to be successful with His sheep.
God will preserve His truth, and His people.
He does this for His glory.
Now I heartily present:
