The Priority of Prayer
by Jeff Arthur
Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is,
the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.~ NASB
Prayer is a KEY to:
Psalm 69: 30-31
I will praise the name of God with song
And magnify Him with thanksgiving.
And it will please the Lord better than an ox
Or a young bull with horns and hoofs.
Daniel 6: 10 Records that Daniel prayed 3 times a day.
and remember as believers, we are priest of God, and we are to offer praise to God.
2. Fellowship with God
1 John 1: 5-9
prayer is a means of confessing sins so we can have fellowship with Him.
if we lose our fellowship with Him we lose our joy.

Pro 28: 13

Prayer is how we cast our cares upon Him

Read the Bible everyday
Proverbs 2: 3-6
3 For if you cry for discernment,
Lift your voice for understanding;
4 If you seek her as silver
and search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will discern the fear of the Lord
And discover the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
